African Printspiration...

So, being the most perfect weather this weekend, I thought I would surprise my other half with a trip to Werribee Zoo to do the Open Range Vehicle Safari.
I highly recommend it to anyone that has always been wanting to do it, or even for something different to do other than the Melbourne Zoo.
At $80 a head, it is a little pricier, but the experience you get is far more enriching than staring at animals from the other side of the glass.
We went on a Safari type truck, no windows or doors. It was basically a big Ute with chairs. We got so close to the animals we could pat them, although unfortunately we had to resist.
By far, the Zebras were the most incredible. Their hair so intricately patterned and detailed, so much symmetry in their face. They truly were incredible.
This trip has kick started my love for animal print again. Although I've always loved it, seeing such beautiful creatures with incredible patterns makes me more determined to find something bold and crazy to wear this summer.
I'm especially loving Giraffe print... perhaps some Giraffe print high waisted shorts? Or maybe that's too much....

Josh Goot Resort to die for....

Our very own Stef Bambi Northwood-Blyth in the oh so divine Josh Goot Resort collection.. The Australian home grown international model couldnt look finer in this fashion get up but who else better to model it?
I love love love the pattern and the colour. I've always been a huge fan of the coral, peachy hue but Josh Goot has hit the spot in this ensemble.
Nothing screams SUMMER more than the dress and what a perfect way to put a designer, summer spin into your corporate outfit for work! I know I would definately be rocking those shorts around the office come Summer/Spring.
Which reminds me, now that the weather is getting nicer, and the sun is shining a little brighter, I must be out with cold and in with the Goot!
